Lesson Overview

This detailed ESL Business lesson plan covers the topic of HR: Recruitment. Students will explore the subject through a fascinating article and video, and will complete multiple engaging, fun exercises aimed at B1-B2 students. 

This ESL Business lesson plan on HR and recruitment begins with a fun warmer exercise.. Next, the recruitment process is discussed through an interactive activity; followed by a job description labelling task, with questions. Then, students will study specific recruitment verbs. In the final three exercises, students will explore different methods HR departments use to advertise jobs; through studying a vocabulary task, article and discussion questions.

Homework

In this excellent, detailed homework task, students are presented with a video which explores HR and recruitment in more detail. There is a pre-video vocabulary exercise and a post-video writing exercise. In the final task, students are tasked with writing their own job description. Activities:
